Terms and Conditions for the Spotlights Theatre School Win a Term of Tuition Competition

1. Competition Overview

Spotlights Theatre School (“Spotlights”) is hosting an online competition to win a free term of tuition for classes offered by Spotlights. The competition will run three times a year:

• Spring Term: Entries accepted until 31st December
• Summer Term: Entries accepted until 31st March
• Autumn Term: Entries accepted until 31st August

2. Eligibility

2.1 The competition is open to UK residents only.

2.2 Participants must be aged 18 years or older.

2.3 The competition is exclusively for parents or guardians of children who are eligible to attend Spotlights classes and are not currently enrolled in any Spotlights classes.

2.4 Employees of Spotlights and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

3. Entry Requirements

3.1 To enter, participants must complete the competition form via the pop-up on Spotlights’ website or via the Win a Term of Tuition competition web page.

3.2 Only one entry per person per term is permitted.

3.3 Providing an email address is mandatory for entry.

4. Prize Details

4.1 The prize consists of a free term of tuition at Spotlights, valued at up to £346 for classes for children aged 7-18 years (3 hours per week), or £173 (1.5 hours per week) or £115 (1 hour per week) for children aged 4-7 years.

4.2 The prize is subject to availability and will be based on the age of the child and their preferred time and location of class.

4.3 The prize is applicable only for Spotlights “weekend” classes and does not extend to after school clubs.

4.4 There is no cash alternative to the prize.

5. Winner Notification

5.1 Winners will be notified via email within 7 days of the competition closing date.

5.2 If a winner is unable to attend a class where a space is available, no alternative prize will be offered.

6. Data Usage

6.1 By entering the competition, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data for the purpose of administering the competition and for receiving marketing communications from Spotlights Theatre School.

6.2 By entering the competition, entrants consent to the use of their first name, town/venue location, and testimonial on Spotlights website, email newsletters, and social media channels for promotional purposes. No full addresses or private information will be published. Use of images is optional and will require explicit separate consent.

6.3 Entry to the competition is conditional upon subscribing to Spotlights’ email communications. By entering, participants agree to receive marketing emails from Spotlights. Participants may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in our emails.

6.4 Personal data will be processed in accordance with Spotlights’ Privacy Policy.

6.5 Only the selected winner will be notified directly by email. The winner’s first name and venue location may be published on the Spotlights website and social media channels, subject to consent.

6.6 Spotlights is not responsible for failed or delayed delivery of winner notifications due to incorrect email addresses or technical issues.

7. Liability

7.1 Spotlights shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the competition or the prize.

7.2 The free place at a class will only be offered if there is a space available.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By entering the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions in full.
