Dance Classes For Kids

During the year your child will have the opportunity to learn a variety of dance styles from street to contemporary and musical theatre.

What’s Included in Dance Class?

Our dance classes cover street dance styles, contemporary dance, musical theatre, hip hop, modern jazz, and other dance genres to offer a truly enriching performing arts experience. We teach the foundations of dance to our youngest pupils to ensure they are confident to develop technique in various dance styles as they progress through our classes.

In structured classes for children, our syllabus introduces basics and develops technique in a safe environment for ages 4–18. Each course is designed to encourage creativity, self-expression, and develop physical skills and fitness through imaginative movement and teamwork. At Spotlights all children and abilities are welcome!

Class structure includes warm-ups, stretching, technique development, practising routines, and performance preparation for theatre shows and graded examinations.
