What Happens at Little Stars?

Our after school performing arts club is a fun, structured weekly session where children:

• Develop acting skills through games and character work
• Learn catchy songs and build vocal confidence
• Explore choreography and movement
• Build teamwork and social skills
• Grow in confidence every week

The class is specially designed for younger children, helping them develop creativity, confidence and performance skills in a supportive environment.

End of Term Performance

At the end of term, children perform for parents, family and friends.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned and experience the excitement of performing in a supportive environment.

Hassle-Free Collection

Our Spotlights teachers collect children directly from their classroom at the end of the school day and escort them safely to the session.

Parents collect from the agreed school point at 4:45pm.

About St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Clubs

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Beckenham offers a variety of after school clubs for pupils including sports, creative activities and performing arts.

Spotlights Theatre School is proud to run the Little Stars performing arts club at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, giving Year 1 and Year 2 children the chance to explore drama, singing and dance in a fun and supportive environment.

For older children, we also run a KS2 performing arts class at St Mary’s on Thursdays for pupils in Years 3 to 6, from 4:45pm to 6:15pm.
