What Happens in the KS2 Performing Arts Club

This class introduces children to the exciting world of musical theatre and performing arts.

During each session students take part in workshops covering:

Drama – acting exercises, improvisation and character work
Dance – musical theatre choreography and movement training
Singing – vocal technique, ensemble singing and performance skills

All classes are taught by professional performing arts coaches with experience working in theatre, television and film.

Build Skills & Confidence

Every child is encouraged to develop at their own pace.

Through creative activities and performance training students:

• grow in confidence and self-expression
• improve coordination, rhythm and vocal ability
• develop teamwork and communication skills
• learn how to perform in front of an audience

Classes are kept small so every child receives individual encouragement and support.

Performing Opportunities

Students in this class take part in exciting performance opportunities throughout the year.

These include:

✨ end-of-term showcase performances
✨ musical theatre productions in professional theatre venues

These projects allow students to apply the skills they develop in class and experience the excitement of performing on stage.
